Our private gallery stocks works of art of particular merit or interest, most of which are offered on a consignment basis. We agree an appropriate price for each work with the seller and offer it discreetly to a small number of prospective buyers. We have at any given time a select group of museum-quality works of art across the range of price points to show to institutions and private collectors. Our commission is typically 10-20% of the purchase price.
Nicholas Hall's ability to conduct private sales is based on a deep experience with both private collectors and museums developed both as a dealer and as International Chairman of Christie’s auction house. We will continue to work with new collectors from across the world, offering our expertise in Chinese and Russian.
